A Letter to those Left Behind

Jesus' return is very soon. And after He returns to remove His people from the Earth, then God's judgment will begin. God's judgment on this Earth will last five months, and it will end with the fiery destruction of the Earth and the universe.

So, what does this mean for those people who are left behind after the true believers are caught up to be with Jesus? What is going to happen to those who are left behind? The point of this letter is to share this information with you.

. . . . . . . . . . WHO? . . . . . . . . . .

Who will be left behind?

Billions of unsaved people. Men, women, children, and babies from all walks of life. Young people, old people, sick people, healthy people, rich people, poor people, famous people, common people. Religious people. People who say that Jesus is their Lord. People who think they are praying to God. People who go to churches, synagogues, mosques, or temples.

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Matthew 7:13>

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (Matthew 7:21-23)

Is there any hope of salvation for those who are left behind? No. Jesus is the door (John 10:7-10). After Jesus returns, the door is shut. There is no hope of salvation after that time.

Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out. Luke 13:23-28

. . . . . . . . . . WHY? . . . . . . . . . .

Why are they left behind? To experience God's judgment and God's wrath for their sins.

What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles? (Romans 9:22-24)

Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day. (2 Thessalonians 1:6-10)

Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die. Ezekiel 18:4

. . . . . . . . . . HOW? . . . . . . . . . .

How will Jesus return?

He will return like a thief for the unsaved, but not for His people. His people will be watching and they will know the time of His return.

But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. (1 Thessalonians 5:1-4)

If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. (Revelation 3:3b)

But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (Matthew 24:37-39)

. . . . . . . . . . WHAT? . . . . . . . . . .

What will happen when Jesus returns?

There will be a shout and the sound of a trumpet (1 Corinthians 15:52; 1 Thessalonians 4:16). The sky will split apart like a scroll when it is rolled up (Revelation 6:14).

Jesus will come in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory (Matthew 24:30). Every eye shall see Him, and the unsaved shall wail because of Him (Revelation 1:7, 6:15-17).

*There will be a great earthquake (Revelation 6:12-14; Matthew 24:29-31). The resurrection of life and the resurrection of damnation will occur (John 5:28-29).
*The dead in Christ shall rise first (1 Thessalonians 4:16).
*Then believers who are living will be caught up with Him on the clouds (1 Thessalonians 4:17).
*The resurrection of damnation will occur (Revelation 20:12-13).
*The five month period of God's judgment begins (Revelation 9:5). Judgment ends with the fiery destruction of this Earth and universe (2 Peter 3:10-12).

Consider what the "great earthquake" will mean to you. Google the term "great earthquake" and you will learn that by man's standards a great earthquake is around 8.0 magnitude or above. During the last 100 years, loss of life due to such earthquakes has been as high as 255,000 people (Tangshan, China on July 27, 1976). Aside from when God divided the Earth in Peleg's day (Genesis 10:25), earthquakes have been localized to small geographic areas.

The great earthquake that will occur at Christ's coming will be global. Although the magnitude of that great earthquake is unknown, it will likely exceed 8.0 magnitude. The great earthquake will likely coincide with the resurrection of the dead.

Consider the effects of a global great earthquake:
* Tsunamis and tidal waves may devastate coastal areas and islands.
* Bridges, overpasses, underpasses, and elevated walkways may collapse.
* Roads and airport runways may develop deep fissures, making driving or flying impossible.
* Water pipes, sewer pipes, and natural gas pipes may burst.
* Electrical lines may be cut.
* Nuclear power plants may be shutdown or develop leaks.
* Homes, buildings, water towers, and other structures may be demolished or severely damaged.
* Railroad tracks may be torn apart; elevated tracks may collapse.
* Tunnels and underground subway systems may collapse.
* Telephone lines may be cut.
* Cellular towers may be toppled.
* Dams may burst.
* Mud slides, mountain slides, volcanic activity, and sink holes may occur.

Consider the consequences of a global great earthquake:
* Did you survive the earthquake? If so, read on...
* Your home collapsed or is severely damaged; windows are broken.
* Fire damage or destruction is possible to your home and nearby homes.
* All services to your home may be cut (water, sewer, natural gas, electricity, telephone).
* Do you have large trees near your home? Or telephone polls? Did they fall on your home?
* Your car may be trapped in your garage.
* Even if your vehicle was spared, the roads and bridges may be impassable.
* Even if you could drive your vehicle, you will run out of gas. Gas stations may be destroyed.
* How and where will you get food or water?
* Grocery stores may have collapsed (and possibly burned).
* Even if you made it to a grocery store, what would you find there? Could you even enter the building? How much could you carry home?
* All supply lines may be cut. Grocery stores will not be restocked. Will you have enough food to last five months? Your refrigerator doesn't work; how will you store your food? How will you cook your food?
* Will you grow your own food? Do you have seeds? How will you water your garden?
* Your telephone is dead. Your cellphone is dead. Your Internet connection is dead.
* There is no mail service. * There may be no emergency services; police, ambulance, and fire stations may be inoperable.
* Battery operated radios and televisions may have no signals due to the lack of electricity, toppled towers, and collapsed radio/TV buildings. Your batteries will run out.
* Hospitals and medical clinics may have collapsed; doctors and nurses will be in the same predicament as you are (with their own homes and families).
* The prescription drugs that you rely on will run out. What will you do without your medications?
* Do you use illegal drugs? Your supply line has been cut.
* Do you rely on cigarettes or alcohol? What will you do when they run out?

How will you survive in this situation? How will your children survive? How will the elderly survive?

It is likely that many people will die as a result of the global great earthquake. There may be no one to bury them. Dead bodies and the smell of death may be in every populated area. Even more dead bodies (and their stench) will litter the land due to the resurrection of the damned. And that is just the beginning of God's judgment; it will continue for another five months.

Consider some of the plagues written in the book of Revelation:
* Hail and fire mingled with blood were cast upon the earth (Rev. 8).
* The third part of trees was burnt up. All green grass was burnt up. (Rev. 8)
* A great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea (Rev. 8).
* The third part of the sea became blood (Rev. 8).
* The third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died (Rev. 8).
* The third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the bitter waters (Rev. 8).
* The third part of the sun, moon, and stars were smitten, causing them to be darkened (Rev. 8).
* There came locusts upon the earth; unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. "It was commanded them that they should torment mankind for five months: their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man". (Rev. 9).
* The third part of men were killed by fire, smoke, and brimstone (Rev. 9).
* Grievous sores were upon mankind (Rev. 16).
* The sea became as the blood of a dead man; every living soul died in the sea (Rev. 16).
* The rivers and fountains of waters became blood (Rev. 16).
* Mankind were scorched with great heat (Rev. 16).
* A great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake (Rev. 16).
* There fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent (Rev. 16).

Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. (Isaiah 13:9)

And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. (Revelation 9:6)

What comes after five months of God's judgment and wrath? God will destroy the Earth and the universe by fire.

For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. (2 Peter 3:5-7)

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? (2 Peter 3:10-12)

And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:11-15

. . . . . . . . . . WHEN? . . . . . . . . . .

There is much evidence from the Bible that Jesus will return in May 2011 and that this world will cease to exist in October 2011.

May God have mercy on your soul while it is still the day of salvation. For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. (2 Corinthians 6:2)

Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD'S anger come upon you. Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger. (Zephaniah 2:2-3)
